I’m 3 Days Into My Stay at This 3,000 Acre Ranch
It hasn’t been monetized in 4 years & my gears are TURNING w/ ideas:
- Weddings & events overlooking this canyon
- Guided elk, upload game and mule deer hunts
- Horseback riding
- There are 4 major rivers within 30 mins with some of the world’s best whitewater. Let some rafting guides live on the ranch and sell whitewater packages.
- Fly fishing? Same same as above. World class sturgeon, trout and steelhead.
- Parcel off 20-50 scenic lots and sell them for $200 - $700k each. HOA dues of $20k/year each and allow full access to the ranch
- Doomsday bunkers for the ultra wealthy
- Survival training
- Guided bear and mountain lion hunts
- Put some Norwegian cabins along the bluff to use as short term rentals
- All inclusive stays for $2,000 - $4,000 per night that include all of the above, plus food and drink. Could also do snowmobiling tours and shuttles to nearby ski resorts in the winter.
- Insane zip line that stretches across the canyon
- Hunting for arrow heads in the river
- Corporate retreats
- There’s an incredible natural grotto with basalt columns in the canyon that would make for a killer natural Amphitheatre. Pic below.
- The triple C treat - Chipotle/Crumbl/Chick Fil A in the base of the canyon.
What did I miss? Very good chance we spend the summer out here as a family, and maybe longer.
Might even host a getaway camp for biz owners once or twice!
Follow me @mhp_guy to follow along. Would love your ideas.
We saw some elk down in the canyon and even wrangled a loose goat down there too. I got to hold that hogtied sucker all the way back in the side by side.
The game warden on site vaccinated him and put him in with the other goats. Only out here do people keep goat vaccines on hand….😂
